Park Access & Ticketing
- Admission Requirement: El Paso Water Parks are participation facilities; all guests entering the park must possess a valid admission ticket. Admission tickets may only be sold to guests 14 years of age or older.
- Ticket Validity: Admission tickets are valid for the entire day of purchase; hourly passes are not available. Twilight tickets are valid starting at 3:00pm to close on weekdays (Sunday-Thursday), in park purchase only.
- Re-entry Policy: Same-day re-entry is permitted at the original park of entry with a valid ticket and required security verification.
- Season Passes: Lost or stolen season passes may be reissued for a $5 replacement fee.
- Refunds: All purchases, including admission tickets and season passes, are final and non-refundable.
Guardian Supervision
- General Supervision: Guests under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible guardian at all times.
- Guardian Age: Accompanying guardians must be at least 14 years old.
Cashless Operations & Discounts
- Cashless Facilities: All parks are cashless facilities; accepted forms of payment include major credit/debit cards and mobile tap-to-pay.
- Specialized Discounts: Military and SNAP-discounted tickets are available for purchase (limit 5 per ID/cardholder per day) and require a valid, matching ID.
Inclement Weather & Rain Checks
- Safety Protocols: For guest safety, pools and attractions may close temporarily during weather or safety conditions; they will reopen once deemed safe by management.
- Rain Check Eligibility: Rain checks are only issued if the entire park closes before 4:00 PM due to weather, valid until the end of this season.
- Rain Check Exclusions: Temporary attraction closures or pool closures. Season pass holders excluded from rain check eligibility.
- No Refunds: Inclement weather does not qualify for monetary refunds.
Safety Standards & Requirements
- General Height Requirements: Most attractions require guests to be at least 48 inches tall.
- Safety Compliance: Guests must follow all posted height, weight, and safety requirements at each attraction.
- Health & Hygiene: Guests must shower before entering any pool.
- Operational Breaks: A mandatory 10-minute pool break will be observed every 90 minutes.
- Staff Authority: Park staff may restrict access to attractions based on safety concerns or observed swimming ability.
Oasis Surf Rider Specifics
- Height Requirements: Bodyboarding requires a minimum height of 48”; stand-up surfing requires a minimum height of 52”.
- Mandatory Waiver: A signed waiver is required for all riders; minors must have a waiver signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Life Jackets & Flotation
- Availability: U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets are available for guest use on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Personal Life Jackets: Guests may bring their own life jackets, provided they are U.S. Coast Guard-approved.
- Prohibited Items: Personal flotation devices (arm floaties, noodles, rafts, tubes) and large water toys (mermaid tails, water guns, snorkels) are not permitted.
Park Facilities & Accessibility
- Accessibility: All parks offer zero-depth entry pools, ADA lifts, and accessible parking.
- Accommodations: Reasonable accommodations that don’t exempt required safety standards for guests with disabilities or sensory needs are available upon request through a Supervisor or Manager.
- Restroom Amenities: Changing rooms, family restrooms, and baby changing stations are provided at all park locations.
- Diaper Policy: Children who wear diapers must use swim diapers while in the pools. For health and safety, diapers must be changed exclusively in designated restrooms.
- Locker Rentals: Keyless lockers are available for a $5 daily fee, excluding Oasis.
- Connectivity: Complimentary Wi-Fi is provided at all locations under the network “Digital El Paso”.
- Capacities: To ensure safety, the following maximum guest capacities are strictly enforced:
- Oasis: 1,123
- Camp Cohen: 1,460
- Lost Kingdom: 1,200
- Chapoteo: 980
Seating & Rentals
- Complimentary Seating: Public seating is available throughout the park on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Premium Seating: Cabanas are premium areas and require a paid reservation prior to use.
- Pavilions: Pavilion seating areas are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless they have been reserved for a scheduled event.
- Belongings: Unattended belongings may not be used to reserve seating for extended periods and may be relocated by staff.
Outside Food & Beverage Policy
- Cooler Pass Requirement: Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted only with the purchase of a Cooler Pass.
- Pass Pricing & Purchase: Cooler Passes are available for $25 and can be purchased at the front entrance of any park location or on our website.
- Cooler Size Limits: Coolers must be family-sized (maximum 30”L x 18”W x 18”H) and must be able to close fully.
- Oversize Fees: Food quantities or coolers exceeding typical family-sized capacity may require an additional Cooler Pass or an oversize fee.
- Inspection: All coolers and food items are subject to inspection by park staff upon entry.
- Re-entry Restriction: Coolers must remain inside the park; if a cooler is removed from the facility, a new Cooler Pass must be purchased for re-entry.
Prohibited Items
- Glass & Alcohol: Glass containers of any kind and alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
- Safety Restrictions: Knives, lighters, and weapons are not permitted inside the park.
- Food Items: Chewing gum and sunflower seeds are prohibited for cleanliness and maintenance reasons.
Hydration & Water Bottles
- Reusable Bottles: Guests may bring an empty, non-glass, reusable water bottle for use at park refill stations.
- Commercial Bottled Water: Factory-sealed commercial water bottles are permitted if the seal is intact.
- Prohibited Containers: For safety and contamination control, opened or pre-filled containers are not allowed.
- Refill Stations: Complimentary water and ice refill stations are available at all park locations.
Dining Regulations
- Designated Areas: Food and beverage consumption is permitted only in designated areas; consumption is strictly prohibited in or directly by the pools.
Guest Conduct & Environment
- Family Environment: El Paso Water Parks maintains a family-friendly environment; threatening, aggressive, or abusive language is strictly prohibited.
- Prohibited Behavior: Harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory behavior toward guests or staff will result in immediate removal.
- Service Animals: Service animals are welcome; however, pets of any kind are not permitted inside the park.
- Smoke-Free Policy: Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes and vaping devices, is prohibited.
- Audio Devices: To ensure guest enjoyment, amplified sound or personal music devices are not permitted.
Safety & Health Regulations
- Staff Instructions: Guests must follow the instructions of lifeguards and park staff at all times.
- Prohibited Actions: Running, jumping, pushing, wrestling, rough play, or diving is strictly prohibited throughout the park.
- Hygiene Standards: Guests may not use pools or attractions if they have a contagious illness or have experienced diarrhea within the past 14 days.
- Water Safety: Drinking pool water or spitting/spraying water from the mouth is prohibited.
- Jewelry: For safety reasons, guests may be required to remove jewelry before using certain attractions.
- Firearms Policy: In accordance with Texas Penal Code §30.06 and §30.07, the carrying of concealed or open handguns is prohibited.
Child Supervision & Red Wristband Program
- Red Wristband Requirement: Children aged 6 and under will receive a red safety wristband at the gate and must wear it at all times.
- Arm’s Reach Policy: Children 6 and under must remain within “arm’s reach” of a supervising adult (18+) who is also in the water.
- Life Jacket Mandate: Children 6 and under must wear a properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved Type II or Type III life jacket in all bodies of water.
- Infant Safety: Infants too small for a life jacket must remain in the arms of an adult at all times while in or near the water.
Swimwear & Attire Standards (Include “Approved Swim Attire”)
- Required Attire: Appropriate swimwear is mandatory for all pools and attractions.
- Prohibited Clothing: Prohibited items include denim, basketball shorts, cotton clothing, sportswear, transparent clothing, thongs, and other non-swim substitutes.
- Footwear: Water shoes are recommended for walking on decks but may not be worn while on attractions.
- Goggles: Goggles may be worn in pools but are prohibited on all slide attractions.
Park Property & Belongings
- Restricted Items: Umbrellas, lawn chairs, portable grills, and glass containers are not permitted.
- Swim Toys: Small swim toys are permitted.
- Strollers & Wagons: Strollers and wagons are permitted but must not block walkways, seating areas, pool decks, or emergency exit areas.
- Relocation of Items: Staff may relocate unattended belongings or strollers that obstruct access or are placed in reserved seating areas.
